Preventing child labour
Child labour is an unacceptable part of international commerce and an insult to the life of all humans.
Furnco is very well aware of the use of child labour in the countries where we produce our products. We, as a company and humans, do not accept child labour in any way and/or part of the process of manufacturing the products we supply other companies in Europe.
Our long and close relationship with our suppliers of material and other components is part of our guarantee that neither we nor our suppliers use child labour. We complement this by making several yearly visits to the factory sites and checking for child labour and good work environments.
Protecting the environment
Our existing suppliers are all working according to ISO 9000 or corresponding. This is an aspect which we find more and more important. Our constant cost-awareness and search for better resource efficiency also leads to more efficient use of raw material, less waste and fewer discharge.
Safe, safer, safest
Safety is a priority for us at Furnco. Many of our products are certified by Nemko in Norway and their "N"-mark guarantees the safety of our products. It is also a symbol which proves that we care about the safety of our customers. All electrical products must be fitted by an electrician. Because your safety is our priority.
